About the Event:
Festability is a Music Festival for people with disabilities living in Kent. There are over 50,000 children, young people & adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in Kent alone. If we add to that the numbers in the surrounding areas, you can imagine the potential numbers we have.
In 2018, we had over 1700 people attend (the age range went from toddler to adult) and this was our first event. In 2019, we had more people through the gates and 2020 is already ahead on sales compared to our previous years.
In addition to the two stages offering a variety of bands throughout the day, we have an abundance of other activities.
We have a chill-out area (with sensory lights and sounds), a changing places suite, qualified staff to help assist, a karaoke tent, a sensory play tent, First Aid tent, a Fun Zone (fairground and inflatables), a local food and craft tent (a place for local small businesses to share their delights with families who rarely get to fetes and festivals) and much more.
As you can imagine, the costs of making Festability happen are immense. We have been approached by families and organisations who wish to support the work we are doing and many have said it would be great to have a few options available.
So we have put together a variety of financial ways you can support Festability – explaining what this money will contribute to and what you get in return.
Once you have thought of how you can support us, then head to our Support Packages page to pay online or should you prefer an invoice, or to pay by cheque, please contact Debs@festability.co.uk
